Founded in 1995 by ethnomusicologist Neva Wartell, MUSIC FOR THE MASSES is a full-service production company specializing in World Music, incorporated as an organization with nonprofit status. Combining a vast spectrum of experience and expertise, Music for the Masses offers consulting for event production (live, recording and broadcast); promotion, marketing and publicity services; and artist management and professional development. We remain dedicated to working collectively, with a shared vision of a world without borders.

In a career spanning more than 27 years...

...DJ Neva has been actively involved in management, booking, promotion and production of a long list of local, national and international artists. She has produced numerous events, concert series, workshops and educational programs. Her current focus is the artistic development of bands and musicians she deeply believes in, through guidance, advocacy, studio production and promotional support.
